Queen Victoria Market is good place to visit if you are in Melbourne. The market is the biggest market in southern hemisphere. I went to the place a few times there was the best place to prepare BBQ or something. The market sells everything for instance, food, clothes, souvenirs. My favorite thing I have had there is eating mussels that were super delicious. I bought the mussels every time I went the market. You can eat several types of tasted mussels for example lemon, chili red and white wine. All of them are delicious but if I have to chose, I will order chili. It’s really hot but I like spicy food.
Melbourne has a lot of place to visit and nice cafes but I highly recommend you to go to the market there is amazing place and has a worth to go there once. I am sure you can enjoy the place. If you do not like there, go to a cafe and think about next plan.
How to get to the Queen Victoria Market
It takes you about 11 minutes by a tram from Flinders Street station. You can take a few numbers of trams that are 19, 57 and 59. You have to ride 4 stops to get there from Flinders Street station to Queen Victoria Market.
Melbourne has amazing transportation system especially, trams are very useful. How useful is the city has the free tram zone that is most of CBD area. You can ride a tram for free if you are in the zone that means you don’t have to pay and the Queen Victoria Market is in the zone I assume.
