Auckland Zoo is one of the best places to visit in Auckland I think. There are a lot of animals which came from South Africa, South America, Australia and of course New Zealand. If you like animals you should go there and I am sure, you will have a really good time because I had very nice time even I am allergic to animals haha.
The place imagined me the world of Lion King.
At first I went to South Africa zone, there are lots of animals there are like Lion King. I saw lions, zebras, giraffes, ostriches, cheetahs and more several animals. I thought I was being in the world of LION KING. I watched the movie several times when I was a child before I went to a school. It makes me remind my childhood. And my favorite animal is the lion, they are cool and so strong. I always think why lion is king of animals when I see them. They aren’t the fastest animal, they aren’t the strongest animal but they are king of animals. I think their attitude is making them king. They don’t show theirs fear and behave like a winner. That’s why I like lions.
The one thing I was really surprised in the zoo was Kiwi is so big, that was bigger than I expected. I had imagined a small bird but real was very different and not cute. I wondered how they fly, I think they are too big to fly.
How to get the zoo.
I went to the Auckland zoo by bus and walk. If you are in the CBD of Auckland, it takes you about 30 minutes by a bus and walk. You can take a few buses to get to the zoo. The buses numbers are 18 and 105. There are more numbers buses can take you to the zoo but I don’t know which can. If you have a car, it’s easy and better to get there than take a bus. It takes you about fifteen minutes. And it is also good if you live in suburb.
