One of the best cafes in Melbourne I think is Axil Coffee Roaster that is where I went when I was in Melbourne. In that time, I went a cafe a day as possible as I could because I wanted to know where is the best cafe in the city. There are a lot of nice cafes and good baristas. I usually ordered long black coffee or flat white. I have never heard like that names of coffee before I came Melbourne. Once I drank them, I would like them instantly. Actually, I liked drinking coffee but I wasn’t interested in what kind of beans are used before I knew that coffee, now I am curious about them.
How to get there
It takes about 10 minutes by walk from Flinder Street station. If you take a tram, it would be under 10 minutes by the station. I think it’s better to go to Axil Coffee Roaster by walk because Melbourne has a lot of beautiful buildings to see. You can enjoy sightseeing of the city. Melbourne also has good transportation system especially trams are great. The city has free tram zone that means you can ride a tram for free when you are in the zone. It is really useful I used a lot when I was in Melbourne. You can both enjoy the city walking and taking a tram.
What I ordered
I ordered long black coffee which is my favorite and smelled nice. Axil Coffee Roaster doesn’t have a wide space but it’s nice cosy space and enough to feel relaxed. There is a big painting something on the wall that is nice and it makes the shop look better inside. I recommend going Axil Coffee Roaster and I am sure It’s gonna be good start of your journey of Melbourne. I recommend going Brighton Schoolhouse as well that is one of the best cafes in Melbourne I also think.
